i won't go into the details, but long story short:
i found myself sitting next to him (because he told me to!!! =)-- yes, him!!!
..talking and talking while waiting for our prof
..only to find out much much later into our conversation that HE WAS IN THE WRONG CLASS- MY class/what could've been OUR class.
so he walks away and leaves me with "thanks ginny! sayang, akala ko mag kaklase ulit tayo.. "

for us to meet again!

dear eljay,
we're leaving for bora in a bit! i'm excited ..but STRESSED. we booked early for cheap tickets, but little did i know- WITH CHEAPIPAYNESS comes STRESS.
we're NOT allowed to freaking check in our baggage!! AGGGHHHH. not only that, but "only ONE piece of baggage is allowed to be carried on board provided that it does not exceed the dimensions 55cm x 40 cm x 20 cm (WHAT THE EFF??) and provided that it does not weigh more than 7 kg.."
ONE bag. 7kg. SIGE LANG..
i thought i could do it. after all, it's just bikinis, a few tops and dresses. BUT NO! MY BACKPACK'S ON THE VERGE OF POPPING. it really looks like it's PUPUTOK na anytime soon. i weighed it. it was only 6kg. OKAY GOOD ENOUGH. YAY. to hell with the ONE piece of baggage, i'm bringing a handcarry. i weighed it. 2kg. so that makes it 8kg! EFF!! UGH. HASSLE!! UGHHHH!! ..as i was stressing with my life, anika texted out of the blue.
A: "i can't sleep cause i usually sleep 330am since sembreak started. damnthis. first time i'm not overpacked.. "
YA. RIGHT. YAAAA RIGHT??? ANIKA MARTIREZ NOT OVERPACKED AND I AM...?? HOW'S THAT POSSIBLE!! IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE??
G: "huh! i'm a bit over 7kg!! how'd you do that?? i'm bringing 2 bags.. you??"
A: "2 also. a duffel and my handcarry. i super sorted out the clothes i'm really gonna super wear. wala nang extra extra clothes pa as in sakto lang talaga per day n nite. then kanina i bought toiletries. i sacheted everything HAHA"
WAT!!!! I WAS REALLY ALARMED! she seemed to be at peace and mukang solve na solve na!! i still couldn't process the fact that anika did it. YA RIGHT!?!
G: "FINE. IL RECYCLE PANTULOG OR SOMETHING...HMMM.. EFF this but what if we get wet wet, we need more clothes! I HATE THIS!!! grr. i'll try again. remove remove.. "
threatened, i decided to warn rach about anika's apocalyptic revelation. i told rach "I'M RESETTING!!! i HAVE to remove clothes. if anika's NOT overpacked.....we can't be. NAKAKAHIYA NOH!!"
so i started to unpack and sort things out
..until i got anika's reply.
A: "hello 1 pangtulog lang noh! i'm 8.5kilos just be ready with excess baggage fee, if ever hahahah. oh and aside from my 2bags, i have a supotful of junk"
OH.
MY.
GAWD.
JUST WHEN I THOUGHT A MIRACLE JUST HAPPENED.. ANIKA, THE QUEEN OF ALL SORTS OF ABUBOT, STILL LIVED UP TO MY EXPECTIONS.
1 duffel bag. 1 handcarry. 8.5kilos plus a supotful of junk.
HINDI SIYA OVERPACKED (tama nga naman! sakto lang her clothes..), OVERWEIGHT LANG NAMAN SIYA, BAKET BA!!! AHAHAHAAHAHHA!!
i knew it was impossible! anika's apocalyptic revelation ..ERROR! hahaha
..and so i just finished repacking my on-the-verge-na-sumabog backpack and am READY TO GO! bo bo bo bora HERE WE COMEEE!!!! WOOT WOOT!

i don't know why, but i've been cutting my classes these past few days.
2 weeks ago, i didn't bother going to school T-Th (and missed quizzes) because wala lang.
last friday, i only went to my 730-830am class. i cut my 2 other classes in the afternoon.
yesterday, i was late (still considered a cut) for my first class 'cause i left my house later than usual.
i'm supposed to be in eco stat class right now ..but i'm actually at home. i knew since last week that i'll be having a quiz in histo later today, but i still didn't go to school.
WHAT IS UP WITH ME? argh.
from now on, no more self-proclaimed free days or free cuts for me.

i just found out that the concert was really for free! marcus adoro was nice enough to add people in the vip list. all they had to do was email him! demn.
anyway, watching videos of the concert makes me feel soOoo giddy!!
and look at what i found.. with a smile TECHNO VERSION! HAHAHA cute!

so i've been lurking in cyberspace and i found what i'd like to call:
"WHAT WOULD'VE BEEN THE FUNERAL(PAMATAY) ENDING"
[while reading this, tumindig balahibo ko and yes, parang naipit heart ko ng conte. supermooper lupet.]
anyway, diziz8..
During the second set, the band was to sing ten more songs, in this order:
1. Maskara
2. Poor Man's Grave
3. Torpedo
4. Trip to Jerusalem
5. Back To Me
6. walang Nagbago
7. Maling Akala
8. Tikman
9. Spoliarium
10.Magasin
When Magasin was to be played, the screen behind them would have montages of various news and magazine clippings of them. It would flash alternately with shots of the band and audience until the song reached the coda where Ely sings "...ay centerfold ka naaaa...woo hoo-hoo, haaa-haaa" part of the song. Then there would be fire works and a fountain of sparks, going on til the last note of the song. Then the hydraulic stage would be lowered and the band would make a "fake ending".
The lights would then go out.
The insider said the band would wait til the crowd chanted "more". "It would take two beers' worth of chanting "more". Then in the darkness, a very dramatic keyboard solo would be heard, and it would be the opening chords of Para Sa Masa.
The hydraulic stage would rise again and there they would be.
After Para Sa Masa, they'd switch into Overdrive. With the crowd pumped within an inch of insanity they were to hit us with Pare Ko. And then we would slow down and reminisce with Minsan.
Finally, they would perform Huling El Bimbo. Again, after the last refrain, at the coda (la la la laaa...) the grand fireworks display would go off, fountains of light surrounding the stage. The next la-la-la parts would see fireworks from behind the general admissions section, and as the song ended there would be a burst of confetti all over the audience.
Then the hydraulic stage would be lowered for the final exit.
Those were the plans for the Ultraelectromagnetic night. It may not have happened as planned but at least we knew they were going to give us a show we would never forget!
We asked the source if the band knew about all these plans and she said they did. In fact they were so excited about all the gimmicks and couldn't wait to party with the audience. "Nag-usap pa nga sila kung may mga kailangang saluhin na kanta just in case (di na kaya ni Ely)," the source said. "And Ely said, hindi, Kakanta ako!"

things happen for a reason. i guess God cut the concert short 'cause it would've been too much (for all of us) to handle. i mean, if 1st set palang killer na.. what more kung natuloy pa itong ending? HECK! 'di lang si ely mag cocollapse! i bet buong audience mamamatay sa tuwa!! funeral ending, indeed.
sayang nga, but the fact that they intended to give us one helluva concert is just so.. WOW. THANK YOU.
